Thursday, 5th January
  • Lyndhurst Community Centre, Paraphernalia Fair, 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Saturday, 7th January
  • Lyndhurst Community Centre, New Forest Book Fair, 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Wednesday, 11th January
  • Lyndhurst Community Centre, RSPB Group, 7.30pm.
Friday, 13th January
  • Brockenhurst Village Hall, Film night - I, Daniel Blake, 7.30pm - 10.30pm. Moviola is be back at Brockenhurst Village Hall, screening the blockbuster, 'I, Daniel Blake'. Doors open at 7.00pm with a bar and refreshments available. Watch the tale of a middle aged carpenter recovering from a heart attack, and in need of state welfare. On his mission he befriends a single mother, and together they join forces to navigate the confusing world of benefits. Award winning and directed by the acclaimed Ken Loach, this film is a must see. Buy tickets online from the Village Hall website, from the Village Hall office (Monday - Friday 9.00am - 1.00pm), or from Pot Pouri. Tickets are also available on the door for £6.50.
Saturday, 21st January
  • Lyndhurst Community Centre, Royal British Legion Burns Night, 7.30pm. With Christmas and New Year over, Robert Burns' birthday is the next excuse for a good party! The evening includes a buffet supper and dancing led by members of the New Forest Scottish Country Dancers. Tickets are available from the Community Centre and the Working Men's Club, £12.50 each.
Sunday, 22nd January
  • Lyndhurst Community Centre, Flea Market, 9.30am - 4.00pm.
Friday, 27th January
  • Lyndhurst Community Centre, Film Night - Absolutely Fabulous, 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Following a disastrous incident at a fashion event, Patsy and Edina find themselves forced to flee the country. Their chosen hide-out? The French Riviera, where else! The consequences are absolutely hilarious. Tickets are available from the Community Centre office, £5.00 each (or £4.50 for Community Centre members).
Saturday, 28th January
  • New Forest Centre, Lyndhurst, Christopher Tower Reference Library Open Day, 10.00am - 3.00pm. Would you like to find out more about where you live? Maybe you'd like to learn about local family history resources? Then come along to the Christopher Tower Reference Library Open Day. Situated on the upper floor of the New Forest Centre, the Library contains the largest collection of New Forest publications, maps and ephemera. Admission free.
Sunday, 29th January
  • Lyndhurst Community Centre, New Forest Volunteer Fair, 10.30am - 4.00pm.
  • Brockenhurst Village Hall, Little Pickles Market, 10.00am - 11.30pm. Grab your little pickles a bargain with this popular nearly-new sale. Entry £1 (under 15's free).

Longer running events

Saturday, 19th November to Monday, 9th January
  • New Forest Centre, Lyndhurst, Special Exhibition: Colin Merrin and Nicky Exell, open daily 10.00am - 3.30pm. Two of our most popular artists return for a joint exhibition. Colin Merrin is an established oil painter, focusing mainly on landscapes and this year he has turned his attention to the New Forest. Nicky Exell is an accomplished fused glass artist, whose atmospheric use of coloured glass lends itself to the unique landscape of the New Forest.
Friday, 6th Janury - Sunday, 8th January
  • Brockenhurst Village Hall, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Join the extremely popular Brockenhurst Players as they perform their annual panto at Brockenhurst Village Hall. Enjoy the classic tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, performed by the very best of local theatrical talent. Choose from three performances: Friday 6th January at 7.30pm, Saturday 7th January at 7.30pm, Sunday 8th January at 2.30pm. Buy your tickets from the Village Hall office (Mon- Fri 9.00am - 1.00pm) or from Spencers of the New Forest (Brookley Road). Adults £8 and under 16s £4.
Saturday, 14th January to Sunday, 2nd April
  • New Forest Centre, Lyndhurst, Special Exhibition: Creative Forest, open daily 10.00am - 3.30pm. Selected Creative Coverage Members' Exhibition 2017 featuring works by Claire Wiltsher, Joanna Commings ASWAc, Marjorie Collins, Lin Williams, Clare Blois and more.
